Cookie policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026Version 1.0

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. Your browser's local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are similar technologies used for the same purposes; in this policy, "cookies" covers these technologies too.

This policy explains the cookies used on shopiuzman.com. Personal data obtained through cookies is processed by Shopiuzman (Halk Caddesi No:21/11, Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye · info@shopiuzman.com), as the data controller, in line with our privacy policy.

2. Types of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies: needed for the site to work, stay secure and remember the choices you make. They don't depend on your consent and can't be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies: let us measure how visitors use the site through anonymous or pseudonymous statistics. They only run if you consent.
  • Marketing cookies: let us measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns and help show ads relevant to your interests. They only run if you consent.

No analytics or marketing code is loaded on our site without your consent.

3. Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies

wa-seenSession storage (sessionStorage)Records that the WhatsApp support tip was shown during this visit.Deleted when the browser tab is closed

sz_totp_newCookie (first-party, HttpOnly, Secure)Only for panel users: stores temporary information while setting up two-step verification.15 minutes

In addition, Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may use strictly necessary security cookies or similar technologies to identify malicious traffic and to run Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification on our forms. These are not used for advertising or profiling.

4. Analytics and marketing cookies

If you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice, the following tools configured for our site are loaded. If you choose "Necessary only", they aren't loaded at all.

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google): measure usage statistics such as the pages visited, time on site, traffic source, and device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_*, with a default retention of up to 2 years.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): measures the results of our Instagram and Facebook ads and helps build ad audiences. Meta Pixel uses a cookie named _fbp, with a default retention of 90 days.

Data collected by these cookies may be processed on the providers' servers abroad. The legal basis for this processing and transfer is your consent (KVKK Art. 5/1 and Art. 9; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

5. Managing your cookie preferences

On the site. In the cookie notice shown on your first visit, you can choose "Accept" or "Necessary only". When analytics or marketing tools are active on the site, you can reopen the notice and change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page. Once you withdraw consent, the tools stop running from the next page load; you can delete cookies already saved in your browser settings.

In your browser. You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in the settings or privacy section of browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site (such as signing in to the panel) may not work properly.

With provider tools. To block Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on; to manage your Meta ad preferences, use the ad preferences section of your Facebook or Instagram account.

6. Third-party cookies

Analytics and marketing cookies are third-party cookies set by Google and Meta. The Google Calendar booking calendar on our booking page, and WhatsApp if you use it to contact us, may also use their own cookies to provide their services. These cookies are subject to the providers' own policies:

7. Your rights and contact

Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK and the GDPR regarding personal data processed through cookies are explained in our privacy policy. For questions and requests, email info@shopiuzman.com.

8. Updates

We update this policy when the tools we use on the site or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top is changed. This policy was last updated on 6 November 2026.
